A few days ago I started recording some cruddy drum lines for a cover song. This marked the beginning of my recording sessions for what will potentially be my first album (albeit a home recorded one).

I don't exactly have a "band", per say, but Futures Passed is the name of anything I make on my own or with people that would make up "my band". However, since I'm not looking for anybody to come on down to Florida and play live shows, anyone that works with me online will be added to the song as "featuring (Your Name Here)".

My first few songs will all be covers, but I intend to make some original songs, too (I already have dozens written).


So, on to business. I'm making some alternative rock with some hints of various other genres. This is where you all (can) come in! If you want to work with me, just tell me what kind of music you make (or give me some samples) and I'll see if there's anything your talents would work with.

Example: My current cover song (the one I recorded some drum samples for) is called "Love My Way" by The Psychedelic Furs. I'm not very good at piano or FL studio, and I could use some talent in those areas for that song. I can do it on my own, but it would sound much better with someone else.


Anyway, for those of you that can't help, I'll post demos and stuff if I think they're good enough, and you'll hear stuff eventually. I hope to have an EP of sorts out by mid December.
